When educating myself on being a virtual assistant we brushed over this topic, and it really wasn’t until I was in my first mastermind group that it was really pressed on me to start an email list. I didn’t think one applied to me as a VA, but because I was transitioning my focus, it was a smart move.

Why do you need an email list, you ask. Well this is how I learned it. Social media platforms come and go (Myspace, Aol chat rooms… and everything in between) but email is here to stay. Let me ask you, do you still have your old email from high school? Cause I do! (it’s definitely my junk email, but I still have it) Your audience is going to love hearing strait from you right in their inbox, instead of tapping through that long story you posted because they just watched 10 others before.

If you are just starting out there are options! Gmail has an integration that we can use, there’s Mailchimp (free & paid), Mailerlite (free & paid), Constant Contact (free & paid), Kajabi (paid) and more!
