Join Team Mama Outspoken for the Hope is Here 5K Run/Walk

For nearly two decades, the Postpartum Resource Center of New York has been a beacon of hope for moms navigating the overwhelming, often silent challenges of pregnancy and postpartum mental health. This year, I’m honored to run the Hope is Here 5K on June 21st with my son and friends—not just because it’s a run or walk, but because it’s deeply personal.

Hope Is Here 5K

Run, walk, stroll, or cheer! The Hope is Here 5K brings our community together to raise awareness and support for moms and families through the Postpartum Resource Center of New York. Stay tuned for the next event date - you won’t want to miss it!

My son has been part of this journey since he was eight months in my belly, when I first walked a 5K while pregnant and unsure of what the postpartum season would bring. This year, he’ll be running with his very own bib, alongside me, carrying forward a message of healing, strength, and community. Our story is one of hope — hope that no mom should ever feel alone in the face of anxiety, depression, OCD, or rage after birth.

By joining Team Mama Outspoken, you’re doing more than just showing up for a 5K. You’re standing with countless mothers who need support and understanding during one of life’s toughest seasons. Whether you run, walk, donate, or simply share this message, every step and every dollar helps the Postpartum Resource Center of New York provide vital resources, education, and connection to moms who desperately need it.
